Delete your account

You can delete your Demijohn account yourself, from the app, at any time. Nothing is kept afterwards.

In the app

• Open Settings → Delete account.
• Confirm with your password, or with Apple or Google if that is how you sign in.
• The account is scheduled for deletion. Signing in again within 7 days cancels it. This window exists so an accidental tap does not cost you years of notes.
• After 7 days everything is removed: batches, readings, photos, recipes, cellar, tastings, hydrometers, reminders and the subscription record. Sign-in tokens are revoked immediately.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app installed, use the support form or mail hello@demijohn.app from the address you signed up with. We confirm by replying to that address, then start the same 7-day deletion.

What is deleted, and what is not

• Deleted: your profile, e-mail, sign-in links, all fermentation data, photos in storage, export files, push tokens, RevenueCat customer record.
• Kept: an anonymous audit line ("an account was deleted on this date") and, where the law requires it, purchase records held by Apple or Google. Neither can be linked back to you.

Export first

Settings → Export data gives you a JSON file of everything plus your photos, ready before you delete. The link stays valid for 7 days.
